RiverCare is a good example of how we work in partnership with our local communities to improve the environment.
RiverCare is funded by Anglian Water, managed by Keep Britain Tidy and supported by the Environment Agency (EA), working together in a unique partnership.
The project supports volunteers to improve their local river environment by helping them with the removal of litter, fly-tipped debris and non-native species. Community volunteer activities are coordinated primarily by two full-time staff. There is also an interactive website at www.rivercare.org.uk.
