We try to read and send bills based on an actual meter reading every six months but sometimes it is not possible because the meter has been fitted inside a customers’ property or behind locked gates.
Estimated bills can sometimes be higher or lower than if we had taken a true reading, particularly if you have recently had a meter fitted and we have no reading history to help us estimate your bill. If you receive an estimated bill but would like it based on an actual reading, we are happy for you to provide a reading and we will then re-issue the bill.
