At Anglian Water, sustainability and protecting and keeping water supplies flowing is part of our DNA; it’s an operational priority and a key focus for everyone within our business.
Our board of directors meets six times a year to discuss operational, environmental and community issues and our management team - operational directors across the business - get together weekly to discuss day-to-day business concerns.
They’re supported by in-house groups including: Climate Change, Energy, Water Quality Compliance and Health & Safety, who ensure we meet our sustainability goals and advise on planning, communications, environmental, reputational and social issues.
A crucial element of our sustainability strategy is to support employees and other stakeholders in new and on-going sustainability activities. In addition, every business unit director has targets to meet, such as those relating to energy and carbon reduction.
