Water is our business and, through our commitment to love every drop, there is so much more we do for the people, communities and environment we look after.
We’ve exceeded our 2020 goals and are on track to reach, and help others to reach, net zero carbon by 2030.
We work to bring environmental and social prosperity to the region we serve through our commitment to Love Every Drop.
Our infrastructure plans, including these two new reservoirs will play a vital role in making sure the East of England is resilient to the risks of drought and flooding by committing to:
Be a net zero carbon business by 2030 |
Invest £1.4 billion overall in water resources and the environment by 2025 |
Start work on new low carbon treatment wetland schemes by 2025 |
Reduce the proportion of customers supplied by a single source of water to 14 per cent by 2025
Increase the amount of customers with a meter towards 95 per cent, with all meters to be smart meters |
Reduce internal sewer flooding incidents for customers by 24 per cent by 2025 |
Build kilometres of interconnecting pipeline from areas of water surplus in north Lincolnshire down to the south and east of the region, through the Strategic Pipeline Alliance (SPA) |
We're working with our customers to reduce water consumption and are leading the industry on reducing leakage. We have contributed £7.5million to 49 flood protection schemes.
Our whole organisation is committed to delivering for our customers; we were named as the utility company of the year by Utility Week in 2021.
Never still, never stop
