From drinking, cooking or cleaning – life revolves around water. But despite 70% of the earth's surface being covered in water, only 1% is drinkable, making it one of the world's most precious resources.
Every drop goes through a lot before it gets to your tap. Starting its journey as rainfall, we borrow it from the environment and collect it from different sources like reservoirs, rivers and even deep underground. We filter, treat and carry out thousands of tests every day, to bring you safe, clean drinking water. And to make sure we can provide you with water all year round and for future generations to come, we monitor our water sources closely to help protect every drop.

And it doesn't stop there - once you've brushed your teeth or flushed your loo, your wastewater flows down your drains and into our sewer network ready to be thoroughly filtered, cleaned and tested – to be returned to nature, to start the cycle again.
From investing in new reservoirs, to using the latest in technology to detect leaks faster, reducing sewer blockages and to helping you to save water at home and in the garden - we can all love every drop.
From the start of its journey as raindrops to your morning cuppa, we love every drop so you can too.
