Supporting our communities where it’s needed the most during the Coronavirus pandemic.
Our business operates at the heart of the community, and our employees live locally too, we’re committed to making this region a great place to live and work.
Providing help to support local communities during the current Coronavirus pandemic has never been more important, and that’s why we created the Anglian Water Positive Difference Fund. The fund provides grants to support projects that are having a positive impact on people and in the communities we serve, allowing them to provide help and connecting people with the practical and essential support they need.
We’re working with experts from local Community Foundations to help us allocate £1 million of support through the fund and reach those who need it most.
Support during the pandemic
Over the summer, the first half of the Positive Difference Fund helped over 88,000 people by funding over 120 community organisations.
The second £500,000 will provide funds to meet emerging needs resulting from the pandemic and help groups and communities adapt and re-build. It will continue to fund community organisations who are supporting people who are isolated, considered high risk and in need of practical support during the Coronavirus pandemic.
Applications for this stage of the fund closed in February 2021.
