To keep things simple, you’ll receive one bill. If your clean drinking water is supplied by another company (like Cambridge Water or Essex & Suffolk Water) but we take your wastewater away, they’ll bill you for both services on our behalf. Below, you’ll find helpful information about our services and charges.

Every drop goes through a lot

After flushing the loo or pulling the plug, most people don't think about what happens to their wastewater – but we do. The sewer network is huge, so every drop of wastewater goes through a lot after it leaves your home. Find out more about the story behind your wastewater and the teams that work around the clock to keep your toilets flushing.

Charges for taking away your wastewater

This is called a sewerage charge and covers the used water that goes down your loos, plugholes and drains. It also covers highway drainage and surface water drainage (rainwater that falls on your property and goes into public drains). Find out more about your sewerage charges and how they’re worked out.

Help protect your pipes at home

Our homes are at the heart of family life, and the last thing we want to worry about is a costly blocked pipe. And wipes are blocking the pipes. From wiping bottoms, to removing make up, to keeping things clean – wipes are handy to have around. But they take thousands of years to break down because they aren’t bio-degradable, so they belong in the bin and not down the loo. To help protect your pipes and the sewer network – Just Bin It.
