Unfortunately the Education Centre at Chelmsford is closed for the foreseeable future. Please make use of our virtual sessions and our other resources and lessons on our education pages .

Come and visit our purpose-built education centre at the Chelmsford water recycling site in Essex at no charge.

During your visit, you’ll tour the water recycling site, see and smell how sewage is recycled into clean water, fun interactive sessions in our well-equipped classroom provide an exciting range of experiences to bring the water topic to life for your students. Sessions are led by a qualified teacher and link to the school curriculum. We’re also happy to design a specific programme for your needs.

We cater for year 2 upwards, special needs groups are welcome and disabled access is available. Our secondary and further education sessions cater for GCSE, AS, A-level and BTEC students, plus young apprentices.

Our education centre at Chelmsford has been awarded the Learning Outside the Classroom Quality badge and sessions are supported with online pre and post work resources. If you’ve booked a visit, why not send parents our letter template so everyone knows what to bring.

“Everything was tailored to my students needs. They were focused throughout the visit. The students didn't stop talking about the visit - even when they were going home they were thanking me for organising it. A sign of a good trip!!! Many many thanks!”
